You never know what you might come across when wandering in the middle of your city. A friend and I found a branch fence not far from downtown Winnipeg, in Osborne Village. It reminds me of one you might find in front of a cottage along a lake in rural Manitoba.
The branches, which look almost like driftwood, are woven together and very sturdy.

Another interesting set of photos. I like the contrast of color to black and white. It seems to show a nuance that the eye wouldn’t normally see.
