About a week ago, I went walking with a group of women in the Assiniboine Forest. It was a perfect day, not too hot or too cold. This forest, one of the largest urban nature parks of its kind, is on the southwest side of Winnipeg. It has lots of aspen and oak trees, many prairie wildflowers, fungi, and wet areas with bulrushes, etc. Here are just a few of the photos that I took, the ones showing what we saw on the forest floor.
Enjoy!

Beautiful. For some reason only the first picture came up on my cell, so I checked and on the computer there are lots of photos and they look great. Busy busy day. 💚

Thanks. Sometimes it can be slow loading all the photos or there is some glitch that works itself out.
