Walking Just Outside the City

I visited a friend in Headingley, just west of Winnipeg, about a week ago and we went for a walk.

This is prairie flatland, not just grassland, but shrubs, bushes, and slender trees.

It was a windy day and the green leaves had only just started popping out.

So nice to see.

    1. Thanks 😊. Yes, it’s near Winnipeg in the southern prairie area of Manitoba. I grew up in the northeast, on the shores of Lake Winnipeg where the landscape is not flat, but Canadian Shield with rocks and hills and cliffs and trees and lots of lakes.
