When I cut through the Manitoba Legislative Building grounds, to walk into downtown Winnipeg, I see lots of geese. Also lots of goose poop on the sidewalks.
It seems like there are more and more of them, not just on the grounds, but along nearby streets, at almost any time of the year.
I took these shots in early November, while they were happily chowing down along Memorial Boulevard.

Healthy and abundant! I like the contrast of them eating on the grass with the pavement and moving vehicles so close by ~
