I walk around and ride my bike, a lot, because I got rid of my car in 2017. I never miss owning a vehicle or the big expense that involves. I now save a lot of money, and help out the environment, as a member of Peg City Car Co-op, a car sharing cooperative here in Winnipeg.
When I do need a car, once or twice a month, I book one online, wander over to where it’s parked in my neighbourhood, then head off on my errands, etc.
To get to the car I use most often, I walk from my place down a back lane, cut through a parking lot, then to the street where it’s parked.
A couple of weeks ago the leaves, cigarette butts, pebbles, and other stuff stuck in the concrete cracks along the way, caught my interest.
So, of course, I took photos of the shapes and patterns they created.
Enjoy!
