In the last week of August, I enjoyed visiting The Leaf, in Winnipeg’s Assiniboine Park, to see tropical rainforest and mediterranean flowers/plants, but I’ve always loved architecture, so the design of the building itself interested me, as well.
The Leaf is like a huge greenhouse with many interesting lines and angles. So, I took a lot of shots with the camera aimed upward. In some cases water spray added to the photos. And I also liked the way the outside landscapes could sometimes be seen in the background.
Enjoy!

Amazing geometry, function, and form. Terrific shots! And the trees in the background were very cool ~
