Storefront flowers are not always the most unique or exotic flowers, but they are lucky because they get watered. These flowers, down along south Osborne, in Winnipeg, do brighten up the city during a summer with very little rain. Happily, as I’m putting this blog post together we are getting some much needed rain. Yay!

It was especially nice to see when there are hot drought conditions. It just cheers you up. Yesterday is was 38C (100F)here in Winnipeg. But is supposed to cool off as the week progresses.

The second picture from the top is intriguing. There is something about the balance of the flowers with the hanging leaves and the light brownish-gold wall that is very appealing. Interesting study you have done.
