I don’t do much editing on my photos, you will always hear me talking about using my eye, just my point and shoot camera, no fancy equipment, and that’s true of these still life photos of the leaves I brought inside at the end of October.
I like to keep things simple. I rarely even crop my photos. I only use the editing tools that came with my Mac laptop or iPhone in the photo section. I mainly just slide the Colour button or the Contrast button a bit one way or the other just to sharpen things up.
If I want to get a bit more abstract I might use a different filter (B&W, Silvertone, Dramatic Warm) or use the Exposure, Brilliance, or Shadows buttons, again just sliding them a bit one way or the other. This is what I did with these photos to make them look a little like paintings.
And I would never ever knowingly use AI in my photography or my writing. I have turned off anything to do with it in the settings on my laptop and phone, though who knows what they sneak in!
Enjoy!
