I almost always have my camera with me in the side pocket of my backpack or in my jacket pocket, so, on a grey morning in the middle of May, I pulled it out when I saw a small tree in front of an old apartment building, just off Osborne Street in Winnipeg.
The tree was growing on the boulevard (the grassy strip between the street and the sidewalk that some might call a verge). I took photos from the street side and the sidewalk side.
Spring took its time getting here this year, so I am happy to see flowers, even when I have no clue what type of tree I’m looking at.
Enjoy!

Beautiful, Louella! Love the colors of the flowers, the shapes of the buds, lover the black and whites. too. Verge, that’s pretty cool too.
