Like I said in my last post, I have a new little camera. It’s a small step up from my old one, but still my style: small and simple.
So, I’m playing with it and learning more.
Here are some macro shots, that aren’t perfect, but I like them.
Enjoy!

My book, Glass Bricks, is available through your local bookstores, on Amazon (paperback/digital), or from my publisher at https://atbaypress.com/books/detail/glass-bricks.
If you go to the Published Writing & Photos page (in this blog menu) you can find out more about Glass Bricks. You can also find links to my other published writing and photos.

The new camera (and you) takes lovely photos with creamy out of focus areas! Which camera did you get Louella?

I don’t use fancy cameras and just like to use my eye more. I learned photography many many years ago (before digital) at high school. Learned to develop film, etc. But now I just want a small camera that I can pocket or dangle from my wrist when I ride my bike. It’s just a point & shoot Canon Power Shot SX740 HS. But has a 40X zoom and macro & continuous shot. 😊

An older Canon powershot was my first digital camera, 3.2 mp I think. I find being restricted by the camera teaches you far better to be creative and find ways to work around its limitations, there is more skill involved and it shows in your photos 😀

Thank you. I agree. I like the challenge and I don’t usually do much editing.

I like them too, all the shapes and folds that you capture, and the contrasts of the color and the black and white, very cool ~
