The Freezing River

Winnipeg has a few rivers and, of course, they all freeze every winter. But the river I live near is the Assiniboine River which runs west to east under a number of bridges.

These shots were taken from the Osborne Bridge, a bridge I have walked over many, many times.

I like the shapes the freezing makes along the still open water.
