If you’ve lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, or visit a lot, chances are you’ve seen the Buena Vista Apartments (40 St Mary’s Road) as you zipped along St Mary’s, just after you crossed the Norwood Bridge (at the end of Main St & Queen Elizabeth Way), coming from downtown.
They’re bungalow style apartments with small courtyards and private entrances, built in the late 1920s, in the California mission style, with colonial Spanish revival design touches. (Info from Winnipeg Architectural Foundation, https://winnipegarchitecture.ca )
I’ve always loved them and have happily taken photos of them in the past. So, at the end of October, I enjoyed walking around the block, with a friend, and taking shots from all sides.
Now you can enjoy them, too!
