Let’s not get into the psychology of it, but I have an affinity for plants that keep trying even when things aren’t going well.
When, as a seed, they fell in the wrong spot.

When the weather is not cooperating.

Or human activities make it difficult.

Or a fence gets in the way.

Or insects and disease cause problems.

Or an adult is clingy.

So they just keep trying.
My book, Glass Bricks, is available worldwide through your local bookstores, Amazon (paperback/digital), or from my publisher at https://atbaypress.com/books/detail/glass-bricks.
If you go to the Published Writing & Photos page (in this blog menu) you can find out more about Glass Bricks, watch my launch, read a review, and listen to a radio interview. You can also find links to read my other published writing and see my other published photos.
Excellent subject, Louella. There is a movie, black and white of the ’60s, entitled, “The Persistent Weed.” I think the Film board has a copy if interested or The Arch Dioceses of Wpg.
