Bed Light

Autumn light is different than summer light, especially in the late afternoon. I’ve posted about the light in my apartment before, using photos taken in my kitchen. (See: Light in My Kitchen) Today, I’m sharing the light and shadows that fall on my bed through an open autumn window.

Enjoy!

  1. I’m used to getting this little start of surprise and delight when I open up a new post of yours! These seem extra-special.. perhaps because I get so enraptured when I notice special light patterns too, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. It’s like they transport me into a beautiful new world. Anyhow, these are delightful Louella! I’m so glad you’ve shared them with us.

  2. You fooled me!! At first glance, I thought the stripes were part of the fabric design before I realized it was the lighting through the blinds creating the design. Good job!

  3. The light in the first photo is so beautiful. And the juxtaposed stripes and various different effects of the whole series are very effective. Also, I’ve just ordered your book and am really looking forward to reading it. Congratulations!

    1. Thank you. I hope you didn’t order through Amazon. They are still saying the book is not yet released & are calling it a hardcover. Sigh! We can’t get them to change the info. I hope you enjoy the book 😊
