In Groups of Three

When I’m taking photos I just go for things that catch my eye. I try to capture shots that are not the usual, though sometimes the expected looks right through the camera. I often don’t know if I’ve succeeded in getting a good shot until I look at it on the computer, later.

I have noticed that there is something about three that I like. Sometimes I make myself move away from it, look at two or four, but today I’m sticking with groups of three.

Three boxes of plants in a little community garden.
Three clumps of flowers in a front yard.
Three hydrangea flower heads.
Three tough little plants.

A mix of threes.

Three squiggly arrows on street signs.

Other threes on the street.

Three boards of a different colour on a fence.
Three recycle bins.

Three croquette mallet displays, in three windows, each with three rows of three panes.

Three large houses.
Three small houses.

  1. You did it again Louella. You tickled the eye to take a closer look. If I am looking correctly “the three little tough plants” there are three chicken wire segment like images behind them. Thanks for the eye challenge.

    1. Thanks, Ron. The 3 little weeds are along the sidewalk behind my building. Behind them is a big vent thing and what looks like chicken wire is some sort of cracked old dried tar like substance. I hope you are keeping well, Ron. 😊
