Concrete and Flowers

The space between my apartment building and the townhouses along the river is mainly concrete, with some planters and a few flowers. It’s been such a hot summer, so sometimes I feel sorry for the plants wilting in the sun. One day, when I returned from a bike ride, I stopped to take photos of the flowers that were reaching out over the concrete.

Enjoy!

  1. I like the white flower colored pictures over the black and white. In my eyes the contrasts are highlighted where the black and white seems to subdue them. Good subject you chose–love it!
