We had a warm spell in Winnipeg and a lot of snow melted, then we had a clipper come through with snow and strong winds. When things calmed down, I went wandering with my camera and it struck me that every tire tread mark in the snow is unique, just like snowflakes.
The strong winds sent some dead leaves, that had been bravely clinging to branches, flying and they landed on the fresh snow. Some wound up in tire tread marks, too.
I loved all the patterns, lines and angles. At risk of being hit by a car, I took lots of photos.
You’re lucky I edited out many of them or you’d be here all day, ha, ha.
Interesting! I’ll have to take notice of the tracks next time it snows.

I love this! Not only the photos themselves, though they are beautiful, but the way you’ve juxtaposed them. They look like marble carvings.

Thanks, Elizabeth. I was amazed at the variety of tracks and it took me awhile to figure out how I’d put them on the page. I have a whole bunch more that I didn’t post. 😊
